The basics

Young, dynamic and in the thick of it all. Our agency was founded in July 2008 and is located 25 kilometers south of Frankfurt in Seligenstadt, in the centre of Europe. “deggau” stands for agency founder Wiebke Deggau. Our “friends” are our network of graphic designers, web designers, marketing specialists, etc. We are active in the hotel, air-travel, tradeshow, conference and tourism industries. We also assist companies in the Rhine-Main area, regardless of industry, with their local-level PR.


The personal side

Wiebke Deggau has a solid education in journalism and 10 years of PR-agency experience, including four years as acting director of a PR and marketing agency specializing in tourism.

Wiebke Deggau Competent journalist: Wiebke Deggau studied Communications at the University of Münster and developed her style while working in the newsrooms of the Nordwest-Zeitung Oldenburg, Radio Niedersachsen/NDR Hannover and Journal Frankfurt as well as during her time as foreign correspondent for Hubert Burda Media in Los Angeles.

Tourism experience: In earlier positions, she worked as PR consultant for Korean Air, Lufthansa (trial run of press office), the Maldives Tourism Promotion Board, oneworld, the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, Qatar Airways, Swiss International Air Lines, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Vietnam Airlines, etc. Her non-tourism customers included Leica Camera AG and SCA Hygiene Products/TORK.


Our strengths

We love bringing people together. Networking is simply what we do, whether in our day-to-day business or at events or tradeshows. To us, business relationships are a fair, one-to-one exchange between suppliers and consumers.

That is why we work for companies and products we like. We have to be convinced ourselves if we want to convince others and prepare communication that is believable and authentic. We identify with our customers and act as an extension of them, be it as a press office or a road-show organizer.
